After qualifying for semifinals back in Ohio a week before, David's first race was of the day was in the semifinals. His boat came in third and they made it to finals! They had just 45 minutes to rest before it was time to get back into their boat for finals. David's boat came in fourth in the nation! I was so proud of him! The finals were extremely competitive, his boat came in just one second after the first place boat and 20 hundredths of a second behind the third place boat. After they race, they carry their boats back to their racks. It was so fun to be able to watch him row!
